Did they ever explain why the Institute were kidnapping people? I assumed it was espionage, and collecting the humans they kidnapped for their organs, and genetic makeup to make Gen 3 synths. If that's the case, then Gen 3 Synths are human or better yet superhuman like Captain America from what was mentioned of them. I mean you can't even tell them apart via autopsy...so they're humans in my eye's.


I hate to use this word..trope..but it seems that's what is being used in Fallout 4. You have one of the smartest groups in the wastelands right under the Big MT, and Enclave..yet they want to replace everyone with synths? They could work something helpful like project purity to help mankind get back on track. They need to G.O.A.T. like test for super geniuses to weed out the one's with fucked up minds and intentions.

Supervisor: "Hey Jim what are you working on?

Jim: Working on a cure for these new diseases in the wasteland. Then if that works create a machine that will rid radiation from the food, and water nation wide.

Supervisor: "What about you Tom?"

Tom: I'm working on a virus that will kill half the human population, turning those who happen to survive into horrible mutated freaks of mature. No worries though, it's only dangerous when airborne *Achoo* Well...shit.
