Everyone is different to an extreme extent (due to their genes, upbringing and, finally, personal choices), and due to this we will never see a world where perseverance and, above all, intelligence (as exemplified by the discrepancy between you and me) will be equal among most.

In that case you do not understand the simplest principles of economics: wealth creation/natural wealth distribution, and supply and demand (as it applies, in this case, to workers).

The more people will work the more certain jobs will be needed. Let's say everyone goes full on autistic and becomes an engineer (or, more generally, an applied scientist), then three sectors will skyrocket in demand: theoretical sciences/philosophy (for the creation and sharing of ideas), manual labor (for the menial tasks like cooking, cleaning, and whatever) and arts/culture/entertainment (since we need fun and emotional and intellectual challenges (often termed "cognitive play") to grow as individuals).

Now, this means that the demand for engineers will be low. They'll receive salaries of $20'000 per year (if they're exceptionally good and lucky), while a cook will receive offers of $100'000 per month just to cook a fucking mac and cheese.

I'm obviously exaggerating, but that is how economics work.

Onto my second point: the more wealth is created, the more jobs are required to produce the products or services in demand by the rich guys who make money. Usually, the richer a country is, the more money goes into leisure (just think of Hollywood).

So, no, the idea that bettering everyone's lives economically is a bad move in the end, is tired, old and very, VERY wrong.
