User avatar #63 - reddgreene (04/11/2013) [-]
sorry friend, but I am Canadian
#3 - amuzen (04/11/2013) [-]
I've had Canadian maple syrup but I had Canadian maple syrup in America to, I'm from Alaska so it's actually pretty warm here in BC than what I'm used to and I spell color as color still because it requires one less letter and all my tech is from the US due to it being cheaper there but I've lived here two years and I know about Vimy ridge and the canadian political system. does that count?
#5 - amuzen (04/11/2013) [-]
I shouldn't say I know about the canadian poltical system that's to vague I'm pretty sure no one knows all there is to know about the Canadian political system and everyone knows OF the Canadian political system, I should say I know the major Canadian Political parties and how much a tim bit costs.
#123 - N. Korean citizen (04/11/2013) [-]
Just stop trying to be Canadian when you're clearly not. You're American, get over it.
No amount of time in Canada will ever make you Canadian.
#6 - iamaalbatross (04/11/2013) [-]
This is a little bit off topic but I felt really Canadian when I was having Tim Hortons coffee and Timbits at a rock concert last Friday (from Ontario)
#7 - amuzen (04/11/2013) [-]
Yeah timmies is pretty fucking awesome I gotta say I think it's better than starbucks.
#13 - stallwallwriter (04/11/2013) [-]
I work at a timmies, we're like Starbucks except you don't have to use a bullshit system of sizes. And less expensive. And all the lattes are machine made.
Okay we're nothing like starbucks but that's why we're loved.

Anyway, you're free to consider yourself a Canadian as soon as:
a) You know who this guy is (also, I would recommend looking up Red Green.)
b) Your patiorism becomes self deprecation, yet you still get excited when Canada is mentioned beyond its borders.
c) You feel the need to be polite to everyone. Except Toronto. Fuck Toronto. Even If you live there, hate it just a little, then hate the one place more even more despised: Ottawa.

No, not really. When I say strongest I don't mean that he could lift the heaviest shit. The most powerful people in that world have powers that can help them fight longer and deflect and minimalize damage taken. He also had a devil fruit power that helped him fight. Also, the strong people in that world generally can take quite a beating. It isn't just him that could take things and fight through them like it hadn't even happened.

That guy wasn't normal. He was literally the strongest man in the world at the time and he was fighting to protect people he considered his sons so it does make sense that he'd be able to fight through it for a little while before dying.

It explains the didact in a few of the cutscenes before they meet him I think. Cortana overhears the covenant on the radio or some shit.
User avatar #63 - kaslin (04/11/2013) [-]
When you crash on Requium there's a terminal thingy on the Covenant ship that repeats "Didact" over and over. That's how they know.
Also, there's a SAW and a sniper rifle in that area if you can find them.
User avatar #90 - reddgreene (04/11/2013) [-]
it should be explained in the story, not as an optional gameplay aspect.
