Yeah, I agree with you but it's understandable as well. I'm sure if all it were about was killing zombies that would get old pretty quickly. They also can't just abandon the comics and go a different route, that'd piss off a lot of people.
Plus... they've kinda gotten used to the whole zombie thing. They aren't as much of a problem for them anymore since they have adapted. Now they're just more like annoying gnats, lol.
