I totally understand that, and I've got nothing against his art style. But, as you imply, the joke is somewhat old at this point and therefore loses some if not all, at this point of its funnyness.

OP, if you are reading this, you draw well and continue to do so. Don't let comments like these discourage you

Well, DC is trying to do the same thing marvel, but they're doing it with all the grace of a bull in a china shop. Marvel introduced many of the major character in the avengers in their own solo movies before moving on to the team up. DC just kinda threw everyone in BvS and expected it to work out. It seems to me like theyre trying to cash in on the superhero craze instead of just creating a good story and succeeding off of that like Marvel did.

They didn't throw everyone into the movie though. You have Superman, who has his own movie, Batman is getting his own movie later on, but he didnt need another origin story because, unlike Spiderman, everyone knows who Batman is. The only 2 characters that needed an introduction was Wonder Woman, which was quite obvious who she was when she came in, and Lex who throughout the movie was said to be Lex.

In my opinion, the movie didn't go too well with critics because there were the usual subtle easter eggs that Marvel does, however critics knew nothing about DC and just sat there going "Whose that, is that a robin suit? Whats it say on it? Why did he mention clowns? Why are there question marks on that pillar? Whose that character in the footage underwater that looks just like the guy from the aquaman poster?". The other reason why is because the movie wasn't spoon fed to the audience, you had to work out a couple things for yourself before the finale explained it, while Marvel is more "Ok guys, here is a detailed description of the plan that will go exactly like I say it will. Remember, the Avengers will turn up at these precise moments as well, so act surprised."
