UKIP is a growing threat, anti- EU sentiment is a feasible platform in the UK..... while in Germany. there is no ready right wing, and EU sentiment is overwhelmingly pro.

That doesn't make the UK MUCH better than Germany, as British politicians have been known to be just as capable of writing stupid legislation and feelings don't necessarily translate into policy as their previous elections in which UKIP won a lot of votes but practically no "seats" proves.

UK= Less cucked than Germany in sentiment, but policy wise, they're pretty damned similar.

They also had 13% of the vote, forced the British conservatives to address issues with the EU and immigration, I'd qualify these as growing threats.

To put things into perspective it seems UKIP got more than the SNP and Lib dems combined, and the SNP had 50 + seats while UKIP got one.

A better way to look at it is from actual vote proportion; I don't see UKIP getting more than 10 seats ever to be honest, but when you look at vote share of 12.6% overall, that's enough to get traction on future policy.

Yeah that's why i do it because I just love to make things. With a lot of the things I've made I've done them as gifts or with the leaf I already knew my friend was paying for it so apart from buying the tools I've not really lost any money that I wouldn't have already spent.

I googled it and did some light research, so that makes me more or less an expert on this topic now. It's called Common Core.

From what I can tell, it's basically just a way of doing addition and subtraction with a focus on tens (10, 20, 30, etc.) as landmarks so that you don't have to carry over the ones or replace tens with nines like what is normally taught. It looks something like this image I put in. In more complex problems (multiplication, division, etc.) they basically just use light algebra (distributive properties).
For example: 13 x 5 would become (10 + 3) x 5 and then (10 x 5) + ( 3 x 5 ).

This is probably simplified to the point of being offensive, but that's basically what it is.

In this specific picture, the kid's trying to check his work using a Common Core method that requires some inane bullshit that only someone more logical and/or more experienced mathematically can make sense of.

In reality, teachers already teach this shit (and the students intuitively pick up on this) in order to explain the "old way" in the first place. Even if they don't, they'll learn it at around 7th - 9th grade in Algebra 1. It's a cumbersome and somewhat strange process, especially once more digits are being accounted for (try using this method with something like 1,256,471 - 302,468 and it'll take a lot longer than the "old way").

If you're going to do gold/silversmithing then your materials are the most expensive part although i've spent £300+ in the last 3 months on tools and stuff so it's not cheap but you can just build up your workshop over time. A sheet of fine silver 10cm x 10cm 1.5mm thick costs around £110 the same size sheet in 18ct white gold costs around £7300
