Oh, I was being serious. I've started playing it again because of the new launcher.

I jumped into a game last night with Thanatos and went 21/2 or something, but I don't feel proud because they were the kind of players that don't retreat if you ******** them on a tower.

Thanatos is a god heavily focused on early game, the longer the game goes on the more he falls off in most cases. He is one of the more unpopular assassins because of this and isn't really in the meta that much but that doesn't mean he can't be played or that he is terrible. He also isn't that big of a team fight god with most of his damage being single target. Basically early on in the game he rapes face and falls off later.

Some of the stronger assassins right now are Thor, Serqet and Ao Kuang. Other mid range assassins include, Awillix, Bastet, Hun Batz, Ne Zha and Ratatoskr. The weaker/less popular ones are Arachne, Bakasura, Fenrir, Nemesis and Thanatos. The rest (Kali, Loki, Merc) are rare at least in competitive play. And my personal favorite assassins are Thor, Serqet and Ne Zha.

In low levels, casuals and arena loki does tend to be popular and can be a pain but in real competitive play it is rarely seen. Kali used to be in meta but now personally I don't feel like she is that great. Merc used to be op as fuk but then I think something was nerfed and I cannot remember the last time I saw him.

As for Ne Zha one of the more skill oriented assassins imo. You have to know him very well for it to be played competitively and scarce people do. I'll try Ne Zha but unfortunately my critical flaw in all moba games is that since characters are so shallow I can't bring myself to play them more than like 10 games. My best record was like 50 games with Talon in league because people kept begging me to carry with him (then they nerfed his silence and i cried)

Holy ******* **** I can't believe it it is actually happening. It is like a 3 day late birthday present. On the downside it is a new original accel world which means is kind of upsetting but still it should be pretty fantastic and maybe if things go well with it they will look to continue the other story at some point. So hyped, I had actually stopped believing it would happen.

Yea, but characters are still an important thing in any media, while it should still be good going to miss those characters and it isn't like the story for the first season was over by any means. Going off the novels that it was based off there is still enough material for 4 or so more seasons.

Hmm i suppose I was looking at that part in a different way. The way I saw it was it was leaving the old characters and starting somewhere else without them. But I can see what you are saying, it could just me new characters with the main cast. I wonder how it will fit into the story.

It is also not unheard of for an anime to be revived after a timespan like this and Yen press bought the license for SAO and Accel World to translate the light novels to english. Why would they pick Accel World when the anime died 2 years ago? Maybe they know that the anime will restart and as such their sales will also be boosted by it. The blu ray of the first season was also just released in Australia. Once again why release it in blu ray which isn't even a very famous way to watch movies/series if the anime have died 2 years ago and there's no translations of the light novels to english yet?

The following is an excerpt from a forum post in relation to a season 2 by someone.

"I think there is a chance that we could get a 2015 release, it doesn't look like sunrise will be doing a Love Live season 3 in 2015 because there doing a movie and there are no other projects yet announced for 2015 considering Sunrise studio 8 usually has the ability to put out about 27 episodes worth of animation per year.

With a movie that is about an hour which is the equivalent of 3 episodes~ means they maybe could have enough room to animate accel world with the remaining 24~ episodes of animation. This however could be a new IP or something like that but I think there are pretty fair reasons to think that it will be accel world for.

I think there are two reasons 1 is that Love live is super popular as we all know so they would obviously want to milk the s*** out of that as fast as possible but it looks like they have ran out of source material.

2 is that Putting Accel World and SAO on at the same time is a really bad idea for Sunrise because weather you like it or not SAO is twice as popular as Accel world and there is a cross over in viewer ship which means there is a cross over in the people who will buy the blu rays and why risk losing any sales because they wanted to buy SAO rather than Accel world.

Its much better to wait until SAO has blown over and put it up then so 2015 is the prefect time and 2016 is too late because SAO season 3 will probably be out by then and Love Live season 3 will be out by then also. Not only is it perfect because its something to make a little money while your big money maker has a movie while the more source material comes out and they know they can make a decent profit with Accel World from a business stand point it would make perfect scene.

And Sunrise is a business after all so if they are going to do it 2015 is the time and if they don't do it in 2015 I really have little hope that it will happen. So the second an announcement gets made for 2015 from studio 8 for something that is not Accel world then I personally am giving up on the idea because there isn't a more perfect time for it."
