well both tbh, i am very fond of new smooth animations such as in the new mecha series gargantia, but i wouldnt mind any old anime as long as it doesnt have the type of mecha like in gunbuster, if the mechas is more advanced and the fights are more overpowere or what you would call it, i'd love that aswell

If you are a Mecha fan and haven't watched Gunbuster you cannot call yourself a Mecha fan.

you're doing a biiiiiiiig mistake not watching the old stuff, you get used to the animation anyway, everything looks weird at first, hell i didn't like the way shaft does it at first, now they're my favorite when it comes to art

but they are weaker though, when i got mine s2 and 4s were the top of the line, they are both great
