Yes but that's basically saying that all Asians have tiny slanted eyes when they don't, yes they probably could have given them a different skin tone at least but adhering to the Asians look like this so that's how these characters should look is a stereotype

Larger eyes are more appealing and better at showing emotion. I doubt there are any white people with eyes that big and have natural hair in the shades most anime do. It's all done for appeal.
