the muzzle break takes up 70% of recoil from the 50 caliber round by dispersion. with out it it is likely that you will maintain injuries. And it is impossible to make a Barrett silent due to the round and design. It is possible to make it hearing safe with use of subsonic ammo and use of a titanium based suppressor. But those are extremely expensive and any other suppressor would break after the first two shots. So in short the muzzle break is essential to operator safety and accuracy

That is what I have been told as well by some coworkers. I myself am lucky enough to not have glasses, but otherwise these are pretty decent for 90 bucks.

lol sorry but when people say im lucky enough to not have glasses i feel the need to express this story, i had a blowgun with like 5 inch blowdarts and i was shootin at a mountain dew 2L bottle ike 5 feet away, one of em ricochets right back into the lens and i wouldve lost my eye if it werent for ma glasses lol.

that would make it about 3 feet long and about 3 inches wide. depending on where this person lives that is actually pretty average for most snakes.

i guess, i have a ball python about that size, but a snake like that roamin around an apartment without you knowin about it just gives me chills
