You are 100% correct! That barrel is still the standard minimum length of 16" required by US law. It is just that most of the barrel is inside the gun but it is the same length. It is just as accurate as the standard carbine length AR-15. Just so you also know, that is a Tavor-21. Created by Israeli Weapons Industries. I know a guy who owns one and I have handled it before. Didn't shoot it but it is very nice. It takes a lot of getting used to if you are an avid shooter of the AR-15 like I am. You gotta get used to the whole magazine behind he trigger group instead of on the front. Also the bolt catch is awkward. You see in that picture near the stock below those 2 circles, that is the bolt release. It is awkward as hell to close. After handling it and even though it is a shorter profile and better suited for urban environments I still prefer the AR-15. Possibly the best way to upgrade and "modernize" the AR-15 platform would be to replace the current gas operated system with an AK style piston driven system. It makes the bolt and the AR as a whole less dirty when it comes time to clean it. Pic related. That is one of my AR-15's

Know that feeling mate, pretty much the same story, only at ti aloys and if i remember it took me around a hour to get to rank 3. by then i must have had atleast 30 deaths and around 2 kills.

Because KDR is the only relevant factor to show whether a player is good or not in Planetside 2

You can have pretty big Score Per Minute even with small KDR, even though kills and vehicle kills are the best way to get lotsa XP fast.

Back in my days Planetside 2 had no tutorial. I just started the game and first thing I know was, I was falling on Zurvan Amp Station right into the heat of 48+vs48+ (enemy platoons detected vs ally platoons detected at that time)
Having no idea what half of my HUD is, who to shoot, who not to shoot

Anyway, Planetside 2 is not the friendliest game to new players and you really need a few hours to get into the flow of things. But more than a year later I absolutely love that game
