Particles move the same way? After reaching a certain "distance" they go all over the place in one single way (do you understand what that means?).
Particles under high speed or not will change how they spread depending on how early they hit the safety cover.

Its generally required by OSHA to have face protection of some kind. Looks like hes cutting concrete, which you generally have re-bar or metal wire in for reinforcement. Glasses are a good Option, but a face-shield is best. One job I was on had a saw blade shatter while in use, an a piece of it was stuck in the guys head.

Not true. Something similar happened to my grandfather and he was badly injured and tried to sue the hospital to cover the costs. He didn't get a fucking penny, not even covering the costs as the hospital made medicare pay for it. Sadly, he was also a veteran.
