Well, it's pretty hard to be both extremely offensive AND funny.

Honestly wasn't getting it without these "Captain's of the Obvious."
If that sounded sarcastic you've been on FJ too long.

Yeah, actually a few of my absolute favorite Streetlight songs are ones I didn't really like all that much at first. Like Receiving End of it All. At first I didn't care for it much, but now it's my favorite by them.

Yeah, I've listened to several playlists on youtube of their songs, and the 10 I have were only after a few listens. I'll check them out again.

In that case, I still recommend Aesop Rock, because his lyrics and Blockhead's(his producer) production go hand in hand and create such amazing songs that even if I don't understand the words, it's still a great listen. But you'd enjoy Atmosphere a lot more though.

Tech N9ne - Speedom (WWC2) (feat. Eminem & Krizz Kaliko) Aesop Rock- DayLight / NightLight Atmosphere - Sunshine Eminem recently did a song with Tech N9ne, and it is CRAZY GOOD. Like, I can't even keep up at all.

If you want lyrics deeper than even SM, Aesop Rock is your guy. I need to analyze like every single syllable in order to truly grasp all the references, punchlines and overall message(listen to the whole song, the two go together).

If you just want feel good, everyman rap, check out Atmosphere. He's just an average dude rapping about life. I listen to this song whenever I need some cheering up.

What are some more good SM songs? I'm always looking for more good music.

TBH, I don't pay much attention to lyrics, I listen to music in the moment, and just take in the musical aspect of it.

For more SM songs, you should just look up each and every song from their albums. They are all pretty great. Do a few run throughs, because for me, while some songs hook me right away, other songs tend to take a few listens before I get to really like them (these tend to be much better than songs that hook me right away)
