I agree, but I'll continue to milk it until she decides to paint over those spots. I work late every weekend, and by the time I return all the regular spots are filled because people have their girlfriends, boyfriends, friends staying over. No one else knows that the landlord gave the OK, so it's my little secret.
#37 - anonymous (01/11/2015) [-]
There might have been in the past and might be in the future. It's kind of a pain in the ass to constantly unpaint and repaint apartment complex spaces over and over again just to accommodate people who don't want to walk an extra three yards.
#39 - kmichel (01/11/2015) [-]
It is literally right next to my place, and it's great because no one can park next to me (being a space on the end), and when the lot is full (which happens every damn weekend) I'm still guaranteed a spot. Otherwise I need to park in the Burger King lot and I risk getting towed if I leave my car there past 6 am.

If your car is struggling to climb a hill or bogging down the lower gears help to keep speed. Just in case that other comment didnt clarify enough

"L stands for LOW. On many automatics you will see a number 1 instead of L, but it is the same thing. The shift control "locks" the shift mechanism in the lowest gear."

Copied straight from the internet for your leisure.

NP a good tip to keep in mind when dealing with ISPs is to be nice to the technicians. They usually have business cards and are happy to swing by to fix something quickly, and off the books. The company I work for tracks how often a tech is dispatched to a customer's home, and that affects the tech's paycheck. If it's something they can't fix they will call into their own support line to get a dispatch created. Saves the customer a ton of headaches.

Not too often, considering the branch of the company I support has about 10 million customers. Customer support agents don't get access to many service affecting tools so they have to contact us to run diagnostics. It's pretty rare to find something that contacting my department, or dispatching a technician, cant fix.

We have about 200 cases that we are working. Not all of those are still broken, it's just they don't want us to close the tickets until we confirm with the customer or at least put forth a reasonable effort to contact the customer.

I don't blame your customers for not wanting to call into CS. They get so little training it's ridiculous. To make up for it they use this automated tool that works kind of like a interactive flow chart, so the customer support agent is really just an extension of a program. A lot of them don't have to think outside the box, they just follow the flow and hope it takes them the right way.
User avatar #9 - qwarthos (01/10/2015) [-]
Yeah with a lot of the companies I can tell they are just thrown into it. I usually can appreciate their situation though, because of the people I had to deal with in person. Thanks for the bit of insight, buddy

I don't speak to customers unless their shit is super fucked up. If the customer support agent or a technician cant fix it then it comes to me. If I can't fix it I send it to somebody who gets paid way to much to talk to customers at all, and I serve as the middle man relaying information back and forth.
User avatar #5 - qwarthos (01/10/2015) [-]
How often is shit super fucked up? I've had to call CS for every major wireless carrier because my customers are too scared to talk to them. so I've been pretty interested in how it all works. If you're ever bored enough you could make some OC about how that all works
User avatar #6 - whiteusername (01/10/2015) [-]
