In general the electoral college barely makes a difference. Voting matters.

Thats not what I mean. There is no instance of all of a state's electors voting against the will of the people. Im not positive if we have records for the first three examples, but we do have records for the popular vote in each state for 2000. Look at every single state's popular vote. You'll find that George Bush won the majority of votes in enough states to get 270, thus winning the presidency. However, Al Gore won by higher margins in the states that he did win. There wasn't a state that said "we see Al Gore got the majority of the popular vote, but we're voting Bush".

Whoever wins the most votes in a state gets 100% of the electors. Your vote still has value- in fact it may have more value than if it were a straight popular vote. Your 1 vote doesn't influence the national election, but instead influences your state's electors, who influence the national election.

It has happened 4 times where the collage voted against majority vote, We don't choose the president, we voice our opinion and that opinion is taken into consideration.
In 1824, John Quincy Adams
In 1876, Rutherford B. Hayes
In 1888, Benjamin Harrison
In 2000, George W. Bush

There are 3rd party options. I'm voting for Gary Johnson.
