I was more so referring to the event being what was stated in the title of the content.
User avatar #18 - northway (03/20/2014) [-]
yeah of course, that's why i thumb you up. Is just it used to require at least 1000 thumb to get to the front page, and now it is hardly to see anyone who can exceed 3000 thumb.
User avatar #19 - qazsa (03/20/2014) [-]
Yeah I know man like I don't know if people just thumb less but the bar is certainly lower.

Pretty much this. Basic details that could use some elaboration, and the sheer lack in size. I mean, this comp was only 6 pretty simple facts. I'd expect closer to 10.

The second game is trash compared to the first. Only good thing about was dual wielding lightsabers, whoopiefuckingdoo.
User avatar #183 - finni (03/19/2014) [-]
They need to make a third one. The second one leaves up a real big cliff hanger, maybe the biggest one in all of Star Wars history!

The gameplay is fun but don't expect too much from the storyline. Literally goes nowhere and leaves too much unanswered. Since it is cheap now, its ok to buy. But like the previous comments have stated, its very short.

Thats darth krayt. a jedi who eventually turned a sith. But i meant that sidious despite the rule of two. He feared being succeeded. And he actively tried as much as he could to make sure he would survive. Either by taking over his apprentice? if they became that powerful just in case? or in vaders case. Purposely make him weak in some sense. Etc
User avatar #242 - kittywithclaws (03/19/2014) [-]
There was two different versions of the "Rule of One". Sidious's version was that he would be the only sith in the galaxy, and supreme leader. He would have killed Vader, and Luke if he had turned, once they served their purpose.

Darth Krayt's Rule of One was that he was the One sith master, but ruled over many other's who did his bidding, while being the single leader.

Uh i think he did kinda. But not as a apprentice sidious actually had several forces users whom functioned as assassins or guards. And what not which was trained and what else secretly. Or converted to the dark side sidious is really careful in that regard. Because its ironic he took his masters life and said its ironic how his master feared death. But sidious fears being succeeded by his apprentice/apprentices
User avatar #37 - qazsa (03/18/2014) [-]
It isn't ironic that he took his master's life that's just the way the rule of two works, however something that's quite interesting is what you mentioned, he put into place something he called the rule of one where he would basically train up a bunch of peeps to do shit but they had no change of succeeding him.

Yeah though it wasn't uncommon. If I understand right often the the sith apprentice would take on an "apprentice to be" for when the sith master was killed. This lined up apprentice was not a true sith lord yet however and had no darth title.

This is based off what I remember from reading lots of wookiepedia. If I'm wrong please let me know (and if possible post a link because I am loving this star wars stuff going on here)
#27 - hueduebue (03/18/2014) [-]
Actually the rule hasn't been strictly followed tbh. Theres been several instances of a masters apprentice having a secret apprentice. And what not
User avatar #28 - qazsa (03/18/2014) [-]
I don't see your point, if there is a secret apprentice, the reason they are secret is because it goes against the rule.
