There are diffences in working out.
You wanna get lean you do cardio, such as running, yoga, riding bikes, spining classes, etc.
You wanna gain muscle you lift weights, lifting weights you WILL gain more weight because muscle weighs more than fat.
Diet is important to you dont want to be eating crap and die of a fat attack.

Yes but if you combine the two, say toning with weights and doing lots of running, you can become lean and muscular and lose weight.

yeah, its all about the diet though. im doing cross country this year for the first time and am going to do soccer too. but ive actually gained 5 pounds and have kept it steady without changing my diet. before i was up and down all the time. but if i were to cut like 300 - 500 calories out of my diet i would loose it pretty fast.

for now this is all i really need. im still getting Batman Arkham City and Assassins Creed, but if i could have only gotten one game Gears is still the game i would choose. Got me The Console and Epic Edition. money very well spent.
