This is why you don't quote some random internet journalist. This is faux science and has been disproved years ago.

climatecrocks.com/2012/05/02/fox-faux-physics-fail-global-warming-is-not-happening-and-wind-turbines-are-causing-it/

TLR "Overall, the warming effect reported in this study is local and is small compared to the strong background year-to-year land surface temperature changes. Very likely, the wind turbines do not create a net warming of the air and instead only redistribute the air’s heat near the surface (the turbine itself does not generate any heat), which is fundamentally different from the large-scale warming effect caused by increasing atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases due to the burning of fossil fuels."

No shit that physically moving air does not make the air warmer. But it does cause warming where large wind farms are. The article did not claim that wind farms warmed the earth, they said:
"But on huge wind farms the motion of the turbines mixes the air higher in the atmosphere that is warmer, pushing up the overall temperature. "
But it does effectively create global warming, because while it doesn't make the earth any warmer, it makes the ground (where we and pretty much all other organisms live) warmer. The fact that it's localized is important in that if we use many more farms like environmentalists insist, we will create areas of localized warming.

Now that you've got me all stirred up, I'll give you my rant on why anthropomorphic global warming is bullshit. Show me the thermodynamic data that says CO2 retains heat better than air. It doesn't. It has a lower heat capacity than that of air (0.735 KJ/kgK at 200K vs air's 1.026). The correlation that scientists have found between temperature and atmospheric CO2 could be explained by CO2's lower solubility in water at higher temperatures. As you raise the temperature of water, the solubility of most gasses drops (as apposed to the solubility of solids increasing). This means that when it gets warmer, CO2 will come out of solution in water around the world. And even if CO2 did cause global warming, we contribute about 5% of the CO2 that cycles through the atmosphere. It's all about the water vapor, as it has an incredibly high specific heat, and therefore holds more heat than CO2. My views follow those of this OSU professor as seen in the following article:

I actually don't watch much anime. Full Metal Alchemist is the only one that I thought was superb. I dislike much of anime (or what anime that I've seen) due to childish main characters, but saying an entire genre is garbage is incredibly close-minded and ignorant.

The 5 terrorists would of had to of been released at the end of the war by international law, and they're currently in Qatar under house arrest until then. Really, all he did was move them from a Motel Six to one of those fancy ones downtown by comparison.

And he redirected some border patrol resources to deal with the shitton of Illegal children we just found. Got to do something with them (You think its easy to find out where 50,000 kids next of kin happen to be? You can't just drop them off in Mexico, got to send them to their families), the IRS thing...well, see below. And Obama didn't do that Patent thing, its a policy of the office, there's a reason the KKK doesn't have those white robes and shit patented.
User avatar #106 - ihatem (07/03/2014) [-]
I don't see what that has to do with "corporate", or if you're seriously implying Obama is has a strong enough opinion about anything to be called "liberal", but I'm pretty sure Fox, a very corporate media, cannot stop saying things like that, whether they're right or not.
But on Bowe Bergdahl, that was a very tough thing to do, but as Americans we don't leave our guys behind, and they needed to do something, and all they skipped was talking to congress, but nobody would leave our guy behind in that decision. He'd get much worse if he declined.
Not sure what Obama was doing while the U.S. Patent office was cancelling patents, or what's illegal about it, but his fingerprints sure don't seem to be on there. Or anything you said about illegal immigrants.
Obama goofed and mistakenly identified a CIA official, but he didn't go "HEY TALIBAN, HERE'S A GUY TO KILL"
The IRS, I'm so tired of that one man, the IRS looked into BOTH liberal and conservative groups, and Obama doesn't tell them what to do anyways.

If the list goes on, please humor me with more, unless you're going to have a real criticism like his total lack of political aggression, total disappointment from his campaigns, and again, conceding politically over and over.

When was the last time the media criticized politicians kissing up to corporations and ruining our democratic power (objectively)?
User avatar #104 - proudnerd (07/03/2014) [-]
I was more concerned with all the shit the mainstream media isn't reporting like all of the illegal shit Obama is doing. Like trading 5 Taliban leaders for a "POW" that turned out to be a deserter, and doing so illegally, breaking a law HE signed into law. Or just cancelling the Redskins' patent because he wanted to be politically correct. Or shipping illegal immigrants into other states instead of out of the country. Or redirecting border patrol away from the border and stopping them from actually patrolling the border. Or revealing the identity of US anti-Taliban agents in the middle east. Or using the IRS to audit anyone who disagrees with him politically. The list goes on, and the media won't report it.

Oh yeah no I totally agree, in the multiplayer there have been plenty of player characters, and a female protagonist in Liberation. Plus the way it's set up in the modern frame story, the player character could be male or female, it doesn't specify anything like that.
