For example, "User-Agent: * Disallow: /funny_gifs" ...would prevent crawlers from accessing funnyjunk's gif page. Of course, people can program these crawlers to ignore the Robots file, so it's up to DJ 4DM1N which IP address he wants to block. | ||

(Pre programmed crawlers that traverse the web and index sites). They follow the Robots.txt files, so for the most part, they're harmless. #93
