there is a difference between normal men and quadreplegics though. a normal man still walks around, still does chores etc. My statement is yet to be falsified.

That's what the placebo-group that doesn't train is for, you dolt... The one doing nothing at all.

If there is no difference between these groups in terms of exercise, and steroids did nothing, there wouldn't be a statistically significant gain in one group of 7lbs, and less then 1lbs in the placebo-group.

you think the placebo group burnt the same number of calories as someone bedridden?
Zero excercise is having your brain cut off from your muscles. Thats the base level, not someone who doesnt work out.
bedridden<normal placebo group< person who exercises.
Of course both the placebo and the person who works out are both going to get an effect, as they are both above the 'ground state' of exercise.

oh ffs. Making a sandwich requires your muscles. ergo, steriods will act upon those muscles. Someone bedridden who cant move a muscle will have no effect from steroids. Are you thick?

No, that's not what I meant. I'm talking about how they won't touch and clean the dirty dishes with bare hands, like most people do.
