Keep in mind, out of the 3 domains of life 2 (Archea and Bacteria) are all unicellular and reproduce via binary fission.

Of the Eukarya (the third domain of life) many organisms still do not sexually reproduce (at least in a mechanism where two sexes are present). Plants, fungi, and eukaryotic unicellular organisms (ie: yeast) are all examples of this. Your "6.7 million" species presnent on the earth statistic, while true, is being misapplied to the argument. One could make a similarly fallacious argument by saying "trees are pretty smart, and you don't see any homosexual trees, therefore homosexual people are stupid."

That doesn't matter. It happens in nature, therefore it's natural. Sure, it's rare, but it's still natural. Besides, he only said "observed". Imagine the millions of species whose homosexual mating has not been observed.
