The assassin is actually my strongest character. Middle tree forever. I farm terramorphous with him occasionally.

1 is really fun, but some of the things in 2 are a LOT more impactful if you play 1 first

Their lengthy lifespan would make them a great companion to have if you don't want to deal with the sorrow of losing them after a few short years. I don't know too much about them but I know a few people who have birds and know quite a bit about them so one day when I think I'll be able to afford getting one and having the appropriate living conditions to be able to take care of one I'll talk to them and hopefully find out more about different breeds and which kinds would be best for me. I'd also like a cat or a dog, though I can't decide on which. I can't think of many things a cat would have over a dog. They both can be cute and fluffy and nice to cuddle with and be around when you're having a bad day. The only thing I can think of right now that's different about them is a dog would be better for security purposes. But then again I might end up just raising a dog who thinks everyone is coming to play and pet him and if a burgle gets in the house the dog would probably just stand by him wagging his tail waiting for pats.

One is a music mod which adds over 100 songs to the radio which fit with the game

How was your session?

It went really well actually. So at the very beginning they were kind of screwed because they were down two people because they couldn't make it. Then two people got paralyzed by slimes. I strolled in with one persons character (a really tanky damage dealer) and helped.

Then they found my new favorite low level creature. Its a type of slime who was created and was more or less magically inherited a peice of its creators mentality, so it thinks its one of the race that made it. While not in sunlight, they can alter their form to look like a 3 foot version of what race they think they are.

So theyre walking through sewers filled with slimes with a slime girl who SWEARS shes human. The slime girl is even helping in combat. Her name is alice.

Theyve got halfway through the dungeon and leveled up. Still 29 more slimes to go. So they're making it. I really didnt mean for them to level up, let alone the another level il they're probably going to get. Opps. Go big or go home i guess.

Its funny because they started off so bad, I literally said "maybe i shouldnt have filled this place full of CR3's..." (They were level 2)(Cr is challenging rating. Challenge rating three basically means theyre meant for 3rd level characters to fight.)

But now they have a foothold and strategy against them and it works well. As long as they dont all get hit and paralyzed they should be fine.

Overall, went really well. Lasted like seven hours and the two people who didn't have to leave by then wanted to continue, but i called it off because i had dishes to do and wake up early the next day.

I usually just get really tired and just lay on the floor in a corner halfway through
I can't really converse with my mothers friends
I'm not really an interesting person nor can I say anything related to what they talk about since it's usually stuff that are known among their group like when they were in high school or something
But towards the end I got more awake and started wandering around the basement looking at all the neat things they have around there and the guy who lives there and I started talking
The conversation went from the rarity of some of the board games he has and other rare items that he knows about, one of which was a monopoly board game which was used in some war which contained super secret information inside, or which very few items are known of, but none of the actual board games are
One of the few items recovered was the map that was inside the game, made of silk so it could be crumpled up and stuffed in your pocket if you needed to
Then we went from that to maps and I mentioned that I found a plain black globe stand which I thought was perfect for placing a fantasy map of your own creation which I planned on doing
He told me about a map he had made which was huge and had points all over that they would use for DnD and getting from one place to another usually took quite a few sessions depending on how close you were to where you were going
Anyway we were talking more about DnD then on and I might join him on his weekly plays
He plays every Tuesday, so tomorrow I'm going to stop by his house and spectate

Mei Swollip, once a royal child, was secretly cast out of the castle after failing the competition for the throne against her younger brother on his 18th birthday due to the kings favor of a male heir, through the queen she was allowed to be put to the test rather than being cast out as an infant.
She is a human fighter who has, since then took to a life of petty adventure, joining any who would accept her in hopes of gaining the skill to live a greater life of excitement
The king and queen having released to the public only the knowledge that they had a single child, she was not known to any as royalty since her brother was known to be the only child of their rulers
All she has to prove her royal decent was her purse which contained only an amount royal blood could afford, granted to her before her departure from the castle, and her pendant, passed down to her from the queen as to show they meant no ill will towards her when they cast her away
Both of which Mei keeps to herself, having not spent anything she had not earned herself and keeping her pendant sewed and hidden in her leather belt
5 years has passed since her leaving and Mei has become quite proficient in battle, especially within the bounds of archery..

Pretty much the backstory was a way so I could get the 10pp, but wanted to be seen as more common
Our DM had a system in place where nobles would receive 500 plot points which could be used to help fund towns or whatever and gain respect from the townspeople as a good noble person, but I figured if my character wasn't officially noble anymore then I could avoid being OP in the bank

If I do play with these guys then I'll most likely change the backstory to something more common folk-like

yeah i personally wouldn't want to start out with the points either, i dont feel like i desrve more sway just because i make my background say i do. i prefer earning it through doing either stupid **** that works, or doing smart stuff.

it's usually stupid **** that ens up working.

The purse isn't magical or anything, just the amount of money in the purse and it's fine craftsmanship may be enough to convince someone I was of royal decent, or at least had friends in high places
The pendant was just something I wanted for my character because I have one on my own
It's just something I'd have on my character to make it personal to me and I'll likely have one for every character I make
All in all they're both pretty ordinary things so I don't think they'd be considered an heirloom
