Well, for those debates, I have firm reasons why religions, mainly Christianity, bothers me. I just don't bother though, because there will always be closed minded arrogant people who refuse to budge even though their faith dictates they should be open to all people and their beliefs.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. The macs start up really quick are are easy to navigate (if you learn the OS), but that's because they made it so you can't really modify it.

They make a good machine, but it just isn't FOR me, since I can't really modify it to the extent that I want.

Anything a mac can do a PC can do better and you have more options; however, what a mac CAN do, it does well. Photoshop works well on both OS's. The extra money you used to buy that Mac could have been used to buy photoshop for your PC. Depending on the music you want to make there are a LOT of options. A nice free one would be audacity.

As a side note: You could always just dual-boot if you want certain mac programs.

It's true, apple does make some really awesome products. Ipods and such, but their PC's are really overpriced and are lacking in a few departments. If you wanted a mac program you could always dual-boot, but any program a Mac has you can pretty much find a PC equivalent, if not something better.

I hope that one day I have a PC and a Mac. I'm an artist and I also make music and Macs handle digital art and music very well, but I'd like a PC for more practical use and gaming. Everyone always makes fun of me for wanting both. D:

Also, about the touch screens breaking easily-- I've had three touch screen iDevices, one broke from me dropping it in water and being a retard and instead of turning it off, trying to use it again. I've never actually had a screen break and I don't understand how people even break them. You gotta be beating the fuck out of your phone for that to happen. Then again, I have a cover. And not an Otter case or whatever those over-priced cases are called. I have a cheap, seven dollar Angry Beavers cover.

Right on man! I want to do the same thing. I would probably get a used Pro when I get the money so I can make music and Photoshop ALL the pictures! I want a PC too for gaming and school/ work. One of my teachers at school bought a used MacBook (three years old), and it still works perfectly. They last forever, and buying used saves more money and resources.

Anything a mac can do a PC can do better and you have more options; however, what a mac CAN do, it does well. Photoshop works well on both OS's. The extra money you used to buy that Mac could have been used to buy photoshop for your PC. Depending on the music you want to make there are a LOT of options. A nice free one would be audacity.

Yeah Apple they have always had a great grasp on simplistic elegance, quoting that from Jobs, but that usually leads them to believing that only two USB ports is enough for a laptop. I just personally want at least three.
