The persons themselves could file restraining orders but that's about it or if they are military they could ask for militaristic burials where they could be buried at sea or burned in a casket wrapped in a decommissioned flag in a private military base

it's this reason that separation of church and state is so goddamn important, if we can let these people do this kind of shit because of religion we definitely should not allow them to get into politics. there should be some kind of form on funeral documents that allows you to keep people who aren't members of family or friends out of the vicinity, with the obvious exceptions of other funerals or staff members.

i believe (and this is truly grabbing at straws) they should receive warnings/fines for seditious speech, that is, speech that represents a clear and present danger. they truly wish for the death of soldiers, and with each soldier's death it can be said our country becomes weaker, therefore, wishing that a soldier dies would mean wishing our country to become weaker and could be seen as a clear and present danger, as these events are occurring and they are making their point very strong. it should be the same as when an innocent muslim says the introductory words to his prayer and someone freaks out.
