REAL VOTIN HOURS WHO THE...
Popular vote means diddly. All that matters is how many electoral votes.
Yeah... I know. That's why I said IF the election was won based on the popular vote
Not necessarily: looking back at the numbers we can say that but the truth is we only know that she would win if we got rid of the electoral college after the votes had been tallied up.
If the electoral college were done away with it would likely cause in increase in voter turnout (since many don't bother voting because their state is too entrenched with one party so they either don't think a vote for the opposition will matter or, conversely, that there's no point in adding another vote for the majority since they'll already win) but we don't know that the exact percentages will remain the same.
Sorry, this has been bugging me for days since I go to a liberal law school and everyone's solution was "get rid of the electoral college and Hillary wins" when we only know she would win if voter turnout didn't change at all due to removing the electoral college, but we don't know that that will be the case.
I realize that doing away with the electoral college would most likely change voter turnout. All I was saying was that based on the popular vote at the end of tuesday, the winner would have been Clinton.
Oh yeah, with the turnout and results Tuesday she had it. I guess I'm just getting really irritated by future lawyers in tears about this as if changing it would have the desired effect without understanding that it would only guarantee her presidency if you were to get rid of the college once ballots are cast. Anything else is just speculation about how individuals would vote.

Trump is a sore loser
oh my god! the tragedy! 8th graders acting stupid and elementery kids actin like kids?! Oh the humanity! I would prefer that grown ups starting beatinf up elderly trump supporters in the streets! like how could we come down to this?!? kids acting like kids? the atrocity!
Yeah. The point i am trying to make is that people are acting irrationally all across the board. So relax
Yes i know people are acting stupid, yet how many Trump supporters have you seen riot and destroy property? how many Trump supporters, not 8th graders actually act like this? Also its T.N., are you actually surprised by this? Its ridden with meth heads and pill poppers, so that makes no surprise to me. And yes, i have been there for a while, i know what it is like and i know its not everyone there. I know its not the majority either. We know not to act like that cause we know it is wrong. so dont use dumbass eitght graders and kids who cant even vote to make a point. These are adults wer are discussing, not kids fuck-o

Doesn't always have to be...
The criticism usually levied against these comics is that they try
too hard to sound super smart.
But to me that makes it funnier.
I personally like these comics, I also like XKCD, but the criticism against those comics is that they are not actually funny and are relying on people acting like they are funny to look quirky and smart. People acting like they can relate to something that is perceived as intellectual even though they have no idea what it's actually about. I know people like that so I can understand the criticism.
