They still seem similar enough to me that I'd draw the comparison. A few wealthy individuals amassing substantial fortunes by utilizing cheap labor and the imbalance of foreign currency. Politically the US then and China now may have been a lit different, but the class structure and economics seem pretty spot on.

The U.S. were more like industrial England (sans the nobility), especially in the cities. Thus a lot of people sought to get it better by colonizing the westward.
It's because of these bad work conditions the whole 'manifest destiny' thing happened, it's due to this people had to be creative entrepreneurs.

This also happened in the European working class, but communism doesn't really work in practice
just to add to that, the European nobles feared a "new French Revolution", and as a defense to this, they established the political school of conservatism
Also, North America had a lot of unclaimed land (and resources) at that time, in contrast to Europe. Hitler had a solution to this: to conquer Russia proper and to make the Slavs work themselves to death, ultimately replacing them with ethnic Germans (this is known as Lebensraum / room for life)
I don't believe that the terms "robber barons" and the "gilded age" were the byproducts of roaring good time. In use of your own argument, why do you think so many immigrated westward from the east coast?

There were indeed a lot of Chinese who were fleeing crummy situations abroad, but things were far from great in the US, especially on the East coast where the majority of the population lived at the time. The early 1800's saw the industrial revolution in the US, which while it benefited the US as a nation, mill workers often received mediocre wages and poor living conditions. Later on came the civil war and reconstitution, none of which created good living situations.

No need to be so hostile, I stated my views and I'm prepared to defend them.

Well, I didnt say they were great in the US. Just that your comparison of the US then to China now was unfair.

Actually the chinese royal family along with human smugglers from Asia sold them into slavery labeled as "immigrant workers".

While I am not familiar with the situation that you're referring to, it can't be entirely true. The chinese more-or-less entirely built the Union Pacific railroad (from west coast over the Rockies), primarily because they were the only people willing to work in the dangerous and arduous conditions. They never held strikes, but they did have some strange culinary demands on their management and they certainly were paid.
