You shouldn't expect people to legislate the price of food. Organic is expensive because of the high rate of crop failure, compared to the number of people who want it. Non-organic is cheaper, because you get more food per acre.

To my amazement, the price is awfully near. It is 2.95$ here.

Now, I understand everything is relative, but even for the Western world, Australia is overpriced... For example, a video-game that might cost 60 dollars in the US costs 100-130 in Australia. And our dollar is currently higher. She even told me that the police over there can be bribed very easily, is that true?
