It does for me.
I once had a childhood friend who I spoke with constantly over MSN. Then one day, my family moved to a whole other place, and I made new friends and forgot about my childhood friend.

A year or so later, he just popped into my head and I decided to check what he was up to. I looked at his profile picture and it's just him, shirtless, with some sunglasses on inside his room.

I deleted him immediately.

Then you're a pretty superficial and biased person. No means to disrespect.

Logging on to find out your old friend just turned into a douchebag and then deleting him isn't superficial. They say not to judge a book by it's cover, but this was over the top.

It may seem so, but no. Don't associate some behaviors to certain kind of people, or you end up judging everyone only based on superficial stereotypes. After all, didn't he used to be your friend? That'd mean that you used to share something with him, and probably still do, so it's worth the try to get back being friends. Dismissing him so quickly just because he posed shirtless for a photo is just silly.

Well it's too late now. It's been a couple of years since then.
I wouldn't expect the outcome of me talking to him to be any more different than my original idea of his changed self, considering one of my other friends had seen him over the year, and did say that he was acting a bit egotistical.

Still, you do have a point.

being shirtless on the internet doesn't make you a douchebag. being a douchebag makes you a douchebag

Taking a picture of yourself with your muscles and abs showing to the camera, while YOU'RE INSIDE YOUR ROOM, with sunglasses on is pretty representative of a douchebag.

Someones butthurt.
#578 - perplexgg (04/13/2013) [-]
Not really. I like your logic though, it's the equivalent of a racist calling a black guy butthurt after being calling him a nigger.
