Yea but neither Meth nor Cocaine are not physically addictive like nicotine and heroin. They're just psychologically addictive, same as THC. Doesn't mean that the withdrawal can't be just as bad. I know this not from some "health teacher" telling me but because I'm an EX-heroin and speed addict and learned this through many outpatients and rehabs. Both are very hard to kick (SAME as THC), and while something may be psychologically addicting it doesn't mean it's any less hard to get off of. But yea maybe nothing happened to you when you stopped smoking but I know people who couldn't eat and were always anxious and pissed off when they tried to quit smoking weed; the same way that I know people who quit heroin after a year and had very minor withdrawal while other people i knew quit after 6 months and went through absolute hell. It's dependent on the person, just because it wasn't seemingly addictive to you doesn't mean that's the same for everyone...

Mate, I'm sorta with you, but saying emotional addiction is 'all in the head' is like saying that schizophrenia is all in the head and that it isn't an illness because if you're having a bad schizo episode it doesn't physically affect your body.

What your talking about has nothing to do with science and I dont know what to make of it. Saying that Emotional and Pharmacological dependence is "All in the addicts head" is absolute nonsense. Pharmacological dependence means that your body stops producing chemicals in the brain or body thats not "In the addicts head" its measurable. Physical dependence doesnt mean that its visible or is "physical" it means that withdraw has extreme physical effects such as Heroin which can kill you if you go cold turkey. If your going to bring up contradictions without citation and with nothing but anecdotal evidence I will say you are the Ken Ham of this debate.

you use an entire box of condoms every time you get laid? now that is commitment. wrap it a dozen times or don't wrap it at all i always say
#117 - boobjiggle (02/09/2014) [-]
Actually, using more condoms will increase the chances of the condom breaking.

I know you're joking but there are probably dumbfucks out there that think that that would work.
