Did you copy that shit from wikipedia or something? That's a way complex way of explaining it. Pneumonia happens when you get foreign objects stuck in your lungs and don't cough them out. It can be mucus because of throat congestion (most common), or it can be as a direct result of accidentally inhaling plastic confetti (which is what happened to me)
