wtf would you buy it on steam? Almost never worth it to buy a new game on steam unless it's on sale.
User avatar #91 - pedokuma (10/31/2014) [-]
You just asked for price. I never said I bought it.

Also Australian game prices are ridiculous. So if I go to my local EBgames the price would still be higher than the steam price
User avatar #92 - ryuggu (10/31/2014) [-]
I didn't really notice you wrote AUD and not USD. We have some neat sites here in Denmark that you can trust. They sell keys for steam/origin etc for 50%-80% of the original price. No idea why I never really cared about that.
User avatar #93 - pedokuma (10/31/2014) [-]
Lucky for you, I wish I can find trustworthy game key sellers.

I don't buy a game until a few weeks after release. Only then will I know if it's worth throwing money at. The only time I pre-order is if there's some cool merch included like a statue

Solar still is really expensive, it will likely become cheaper and cheaper over time, but for now its too expensive to be practical.

And yes, we should mate it our generations goal to have a glowing moon. Bring light at night to third world countries.
User avatar #135 - thelastamerican (10/25/2014) [-]
Producing solar panels is incredibly toxic also.

Dumb question but does radioactive waste really glow? Because I have never seen one outside a container, and I cannot see how it would be luminescent. Unless the energy from the decay produces light of some sort

You know where they store nuclear waste right now? Behind the plant. It litterally sits in big steel containers behind the cooling towers. You can go look at it. You can TOUCH it. Take a field trip to the closest nuclear plant and you can get a picture of yourself next to it.
User avatar #139 - pedokuma (10/25/2014) [-]
That requires leaving Australia. I can't even afford to get out of my city so unless someone provides me a ticket, there is no way I can do that.

User avatar #107 - geothermal (10/25/2014) [-]
Its not that much waste, we just need to find a use for it, or a better way to store it.

Solar - Expensive, but that solar film stuff could be put all over the place
Hydro - Damaging to the local ecosystem, but there are plenty of rivers
Geothermal - absolutely amazing, master race of alternative energy but only if you live in a volcanic area with lots of water, elsewhere, its useless
Wind - benefits farmers, but expensive and low yield
User avatar #108 - geothermal (10/25/2014) [-]
Also, a glow in the dark moon sounds really cool.
User avatar #114 - pedokuma (10/25/2014) [-]
Is solar really expensive? I've noticed commercial prices have lowered in the past five years, and if the trend continues it should reach prices where the payback is in a year or two.
Geothermal is good in the pacific portion of the ring of fire. So many island countries that can make use of it.

I want a glowing moon. Could also reduce electricity usage at night lol

Then criticise them for their poor professional journalism. Does not make it any less true; England and Europe receives multiple criminals from all over west, southwest, and central asia.

They are not necessarily wrong, just not very specific.

I've seen enough fake headlines so when an obvious mistake pops up, it's always better to assume false until real evidence suggest otherwise.

#177 - Ken M (10/16/2014) [-]
It is very very legit. The story is months old, and yes, unfortunately the Mirror is too cowardly and liberal to accurately describe these monsters. However, the truth is that Muslim Pakistanis used their religion and its completely disregard for all non- Muslim humanity to molest, rape, and torture at least 1400 girls ages 11-16. Ask yourself why you are just now finding out about this in this way. Ask yourself why this isn't wall-to-wall coverage on every mainstream news outlet. Again, this is very legit, and since the story has been around for months, a quick internet search by you will prove me right...unfortunately.
