F4 already feels like a grind to me, and I just hit level 54.

All I do is help settlements, explore a bit, and murder literally everything with my explosive combat shotgun, Overseer's Friend, and a violent gauss rifle/ penetrating missile launcher.

I have 300 stims, and a super set of maxed X-01, game is over.

WoW is an exception ,that's a game with too many expansions.

And while I would hate to see it die, I personally hate the style of gameplay, bigger numbers always wins, so grind for better gear.

Funny you should mention that, since to me, that's what F4 started to feel like around lvl 60-70. Grinding the same place, (for me it was the military training outpost) to get the better gear. (explosive mod shotgun, instigating sniper, two shot gauss) Makes me wonder what getting the starred dlc gun variants will be like.

True, fine then, it needs expansions. And when is the last time you saw a bethesda game get one? Or any game recently really.

I wouldn't expect anything in the mojave. It would be cool, but I seriously doubt Bethesda would do the Mojave justice, take point lookout for example, or hell any of the DLC, they were all short and small.

Well, technically 'DLC' are supposed to be on the small side, no? That's what 'expansions' are for? I mean, I spent a fair few hours exploring each place, but I might've just been slow.

I am personally expecting similar DLC to F3.

Specifically, Enclave DLC, Alien DLC, after that who knows.

But I doubt anything that fixes the shit dialog wheel, lack of choices, and lack of effect that you can have on the world, that'll be mod territory I'll bet.

#79 - patentoverwriten (01/11/2016) [-]
Here's hoping since I'm a console pleb. I want that 'show the actual dialogue' mod so bad... Enclave dlc would be kickass, need my tesla armor...as for alien dlc I would love if they followed up on what you could read/listen to about there being an alien city underground in...africa I think it was? A non north america place, anyway. Or the fact that it was mention that there was more alien activity in the mojave. Or just go super badass and let us go to the moon, since there was that plaque in the museum where Gravyboat is that talked about the trench up there.

It all comes down to it being too linear. There's so much potential for it to branch and for so many things to change, but your decisions mostly come down to loot.
