Trust me, If I could sleep in, I would. XD Getting up at 4 every morning is not my cup of tea. But they pay me good money, and I enjoy my job, so I crawl out of bed at the ungodly hours.

So do you go to PSU, or someplace on that side of the river?
(I may randomly disappear, as this is a late hour for me)

User avatar

Yes and No. I work day shift, which is 6:00 to 14:30, and the MAX simply doesn't start early enough for me to get from Hillsboro to work on time.

I use to take public transportation home, my father having generously dropped me off while my car was in the shop, and it takes a solid 2-3 hours to make the trip. But it was substantially cheaper.

My sister has to do pretty much the same commute. Or had to. She just moved to Portland because it's closer. I've thought about moving to Portland at some point, but I loath the thought of having to try and learn a new area. I have a terrible sense of direction. I think I'll stay here for a while.

Kinda why I haven't moved yet as well. Don't know if Id like Portland, don't know if I'd like Gresham. Also the fact none of my friends would be close. Don't know if I like the idea of moving to a new area on my own. But at the same time, I simply must get closer. x.x (paying $300 in gas every month)

Less settling to hear of that sort of thing again. I've heard it has a few rough spots... And Portland is supposedly not much better. (that, and I don't see myself as much of a city dweller)

Only reason I'm looking to get out that way is I work at the Boeing manufacturing site in Gresham, and the commute from Hillsboro is expensive/long/boring/blah/etc.
