Average tennis player/actor. Commited Christian, not informed enough politically to determine which political group I'm in. If you know me, I either really dislike you, am really awkward around you, or you're one of my best friends. Into Pokemon, on that board anyways, and I really like the Joker. That about sums it up.

I didn't like the editor in number 2. It seemed so weird.

I never bothered with the editor, ever. I never really cared, and it didn't ever affect the games in a meaningful way. It could have been dropped altogether and I wouldn't have thought less of the series.

Life according to the bible doesn't make sense:
God specially made all life? 99% of all species that ever existed are extinct.
God created man? Did he create Homo Neanderthalensis? Austral Opethicus?
The Bible offers a simplistic view of the world, that science contradicts.

However, Christianity isn't about explaining where life, the universe, and everything came from; it's about faith in God. What a wonderful thing faith is. Faith can do things that science can't, like to give the downtrodden hope. Conversely Science can do things that faith can't, like explain/document the natural world and it's surrounding bodies.

Are you suggesting God made science? I'll assume you mean like physics and chemistry etc. Some people claim that God made animals to have the ability to adapt. But, you can't use god to explain things. It's intellectually lazy. If you believe in a God that's great, but how does that explain Thermodynamics?

How is it intellectually lazy? How do you believe science "happened", came to be, etc?

Well, I'm not very intelligent science-wise, but just looking at a human body, with all it's complexities and details, I can't accept that it just came to happen by chance. It exudes creativity, design and precision, and that's one of the ways I come to know God, through the awesomeness of His creation and the complexities of the universe that we will never fully understand until we're in heaven with Him.

That's one of the reasons why "Enlightenment period" thinkers will have difficulty coming to terms with God. They need proof, evidence, and logic over faith and emotion. But in the end, they're putting as much faith in their theories as Christians are in our beliefs of God.
