you! you fucking get it! you understand! i finished ME3 two days ago, and i'm STILL thinking about the ending. I don't get why there were so many complaints, it was an amazing series and i was invested in the story and the characters the whole way through.

I dunno, I can understand some of the complaints, primarily about the very last stretch of cut-scenes. Most of them seemed scattered and very loosely related, but that alone doesn't merit the huge shitstorm that's been a-blowin' over on the BioWare forums.

I agree with everything you and panda have said, I never teared up for a video game until the Mass Effect series. The story and dialogue were flawless, the gameplay and visuals improved with each game, and I will be damned if I have ever connected to virtual people more than I did with Team Shepard.

you get it too, man. you're allowed your opinion, and i respect it. i just took it from the point of view that everything from the cerberus headquarters onwards was "the ending"

my only complaint is just that the ending let you choose ANYTHING. so all of that karma was for nothing. if it would've made me take a specific ending because of my karma choice. i would've liked it more.
that's why i didn't like the ending.

thing is, though, unless your karma is maximum, you can't get the optimal outcome from the conversation with the illusive man. i had a tiny tick of renegade, so i couldn't pass the final charm check
