Making contact with a whole new civilization of people, cultures, and species...

Well yeah, that sounds awesome and stuff, but I'm not talking about amazing civilizations of people and cultures and different species. I'm talking about... Dreams where something is going on beyond anyone's control that gives you the feeling that could possibly kill or endanger everyone on Earth and there's no way anyone can stop it.

It'd be better if I had cool dreams with a whole new civilization of people and cultures and species...

If my dreams had aliens, I'd either be fighting them, or making trades with them

I'm mainly afraid of having an interplanetary dream, not just alien. Like, you know... Seeing a strange new planet in the sky, and you know in your gut that whatever your seeing isn't good. Strange planets in the sky and stuff like that creep me the heck out, mainly in dreams.

idk really, I just grew up on pokemon, so it became more of an addiction, I just like to watch it still.
it is rarer plots yes but there are a few still, maybe not every second episode anymore but there are some, you just got to find them.

BTW: speaking of the new anime series... have you seen the episode with Litwick?
at the games I thought " oh another ghost pokemon, nothing special" see the episode " fucking evil monsters"

I grew up on Pokemon, too, but I think that's why I really dislike it. It's so different from the series I know and love, now. I watched it all the way through until Gen 4 began, which is when I officially gave up. (But the series started going bad when Ash went to Hoenn, I believe.) I just got so sad that the characters weren't the same characters I used to love - and it became almost the same thing over and over again... I also feel like Ash isn't fighting for anything anymore. Ash faught to be a Pokemon trainer through the first gen, and he participated in the Johto league, which was a big deal. Now there's nothing to look forward to, really.

But no, I haven't seen the Litwick episode... Heheh, but now that you say that, part of me wants to. And I'm not even a fan of the new gens.

well think about it like this. Ash don't travel to learn to be a Pokemon master anymore. he travel to learn about all the pokemon and places there is and try to battle in every league. He might not win them, but at least he has tried in every league. and it isnt like before, I agree on that. the old team are back home and will come if they need to but Squirtle for example are back with the Squirtle gang in Vermilion and are firefighters there.
I look forward to see all the new pokemon I saw in the newer games, to se if they meet my expectation or better or worse. and to see all the places that are not included in the games. Team Rocket have just learned of some of their mistakes, they still fail on Pikachu, but have succeeded in other tasks like stealing certain equipment. the whole reason Giovanni has let them back in with plans has a special reason, not because he think they will succeed but that the presence of Team Rocket will draw out the other gang in Unova.

some of the newer pokemon are rubbish and some are quite well made. some of the plots are harder to understand and some plots are gone and some new plots are just different.

I'm just going to ask... Why? Since Ash's personality is pretty much nonexistant now,and there doesn't seem to be much of a plot anymore, not to mention it's even more of a little kids' show than it was back then, what is there to like other than the newer animation style?
