Because they have as much interaction with men as neckbeards do with women. They don't know anything about us or how we function.

Its not about one being worse than the other but more about her definition of rape being so vague.

From their delusional perspective a mans glance across the room at a woman can be considered rape. So it gets pretty easy comparing the two.

It was his job to do what the black guy did
#180 - pedobearseviltwin (12/05/2014) [-]
No it's not. You're supposed to keep the area where you are working free from people that harass others. Would you risk your life for doing your job? Are you kidding me?
User avatar #182 - dyalibya (12/05/2014) [-]
>Would you risk your life for doing your job?

Yes, if my jab was to keep other people safe
This security guard gets paid for many easy nights when absolutely nothing happens, on the expectation that when something does happen he is supposed to step up, and he ran away like a coward
#183 - pedobearseviltwin (12/05/2014) [-]
Oh okay, so making more money than an average employee means that you should get shot with the possibility of dying for doing your job? What if there were 3 gunmen instead of just 1? you expect the security guard to transform into the fucking hulk?
User avatar #185 - dyalibya (12/05/2014) [-]
Accepting that money means that you also accept the risk that comes with it
User avatar #186 - pedobearseviltwin (12/05/2014) [-]
okay, so that means CEO's of companies that make a shit ton of money should also be at risk of dying then. Nice logic you've got going on there. Security doesn't just toss out annoying or people that harass others by the way. They are usually also in charge of evacuation when something goes wrong. Besides, i'd like to see you do something like that with a gun pointed at your head. You should probably lay off the videogames.
#184 - dyalibya (12/05/2014) [-]
>Three gunmen

Then you have my permission to run
User avatar #188 - pedobearseviltwin (12/05/2014) [-]
LOL, assuming I would need anyone's permission to book it. I would just gtfo and call the cops before the guy actually kills a shit ton of people. The big guy had the element of surprise too, but if he would've stood in the hallway itself, I don't think he would've taken that risk.
#148 - anonymous (12/05/2014) [-]
Take him out like badass, as the dude did. But in all seriousness it's an understandable reaction, and if she did in fact say something before just booking it that's another story but we can't tell with a silent gif.
User avatar #123 - skulldan (12/05/2014) [-]
call it out, wait around the corner for him to approach, anything but run for yourself which is the opposite of your job
User avatar #134 - fizzor (12/05/2014) [-]
I read the article >>#128 posted here, thanks for that btw, and she said that when she saw the gunman, all she could think was her child and yelled everyone to get down
I don't blame her, she's a security guard yeah but she was unarmed and not all security guards are trained to take down armed people, especially not when they have a clear shot at you and can shoot you at any moment.
User avatar #149 - skulldan (12/05/2014) [-]
yeah sure
she isnt going to take down someone with a gun, but you can see her run, nobody moves until chubsy takes the dude down so clearly she didnt shout anything out
I mean, anything really
User avatar #156 - fizzor (12/05/2014) [-]
So you're saying she flat out lied when she said she told people to get down
How about no
First off, you can tell no one else realized or saw the guy was carrying a gun until the other guard started wrestling it off his hand
And second, this took place in a bar, do you really expect a bunch of drunken people to immediately react the right way when someone yells to get down? No, because they're drunk, their reaction time is slower than usual
User avatar #171 - skulldan (12/05/2014) [-]
Its a fair leap from "nobody would react" to "some people wont react"
I hang out at bars, and i dont drink its a social thing and there are many people like that
nobody GLANCED over to her when she was running which makes me assume she didnt even try
#246 - fiskgandalf (12/05/2014) [-]
EVERYONE in the bar looked at her as soon as she turns around so she probably did yell something. fizzor is right, if you were sitting in the bus minding your own business and someone randomly shouted GET DOWN you really think everyone would just throw themselves on the floor?
She's paid to stop brawls, not to be a human shield
User avatar #249 - skulldan (12/05/2014) [-]
everyone looks as soon as the her the Goliath smash the man into the wall
I understand its not her job to stop the man, I do.
#250 - fiskgandalf (12/05/2014) [-]
Well yeah they probably realized it was serious when the big Guy gets up.
Besides, her mouth looks like it's open. And it's a bar. It's not exactly quiet in there, people a few meters away probably didn't even hear her yell.
User avatar #251 - skulldan (12/05/2014) [-]
she ran through a bunch of people, if she was screaming get down, and they saw she was wearing a "security" jacket.
they would have looked around. And I know im getting thumbed down to shit but i really think this is true
#252 - fiskgandalf (12/05/2014) [-]
I respect your opinion, but I dont think you are right.
From the moment she notices he has a gun and she turns around, there is less than 2seconds until she's out of frame. The people had almost no time at all to react. I looked at the video and she does have her mouth open saying something turning around.
So she yelled and ran, what else should she do?
User avatar #253 - skulldan (12/05/2014) [-]
I am just questioning if she did or did not yell
an open mouth could just be from shock
Thats all im saying
#259 - fiskgandalf (12/06/2014) [-]
Sure, since the GIF obviously doesn't have sound. But I dont really see why she would lie, and id she did lie you'd imagine someone would've reacted to her statement.
But we're not meeting common ground here, lets just agree to disagree.
