Country Boy. I love this site. Helps me lower my stress level since I'm in college and it's usually really high.

It's hard view news with unbiased viewpoint when the news being spouted at you is filled with underlying opinions. I do get what you mean but my caffeine craving, sleep deprived, burnt out from finals brain shares no such logic right now.

I was not aware of the situation that had happened with Hillary Clinton and I must admit that that is quite hypocritical of her, you got me there. But I was aware of Coulter mocking the first lady and that seemed a tad unnecessary. Is it not the job of the first lady to build interest on a topic using the influence of the white house? I would have found it ignorant if the first lady did not show she acknowledged the situation at hand in Nigeria. I'm also not much of a fan of Coulter, she's so unnecessarily harsh with her view points and sometimes it seems that refuses to see past her own nose.

Yeah. I can see that the direction to Michelle lacked class. I really don't know that much about Coulter. I tend to look at he news and what is happening instead of who its from. She does seem to come off as harsh and rude, as do many in the opposing view of politics. Not saying being rude is the right way to go, but I'm not going to condemn her for it when her opposition uses the same tactics.

So you agree with the first four?
Having a gun won't make you a killer, but being a priest will make you a pedofile?
User avatar #11 - osucwby (05/11/2014) [-]
No. I was not making that argument, in the picture of the priest the description refers to pedophilia and actually references "pedophilia" in the Vatican as what the artist was trying to argue against. Not priests as a whole. For the fifth one the description references the second amendment instead of violence and gang culture as though anyone who owns a gun is some demented killer sociopath.

I guess it depends on the person. I for example am smart enough to go to university but if I lived in America I couldn't go because it's way to expensive and I'm not smart enough to get a fund. Or I would get a debt I could never pay of.

About the president thing I had no clue I don't follow the american new I just heard that America hadn't declared war in quite a time.

I'm just saying the government forcing you to get a insurance is not such a bad thing. When you have a car crash there's atleast a way to pay for it rather than getting financially broke because you suddenly get a failing kidney.

In more social countries like sweden or the Netherlands the differnce between poor and rich is not as big, I think this is a good thing people born in poor homes still have a chance to create a life for themselves rather than America where you have a big chance you stay poor because your parents can't invest in your future.

Understandable. It is usually pretty complicated with politics here.

The point is, its essential a tax on life itself. Its live saying you have to pay this in order to even live. Would I rather pay $3000 a year for insurance or be able to save that each year and use it to pay hospital bills when I need to, and if I don't have health issues its saved for retirement. I should be able to make that decision myself.

What is the definition of poor? As long as I have a roof over my head and three meals a day I would not consider that poor. I don't need all the extras in life. It's nice to have them, but I don't have to have them. If I want those things I will work harder to get them. Regardless of what they say it is actually fairly easy to live a comfortable life hear. I don't think it is my parents responsibility to invest in my future. It is up to an individual as to how successful they are. I'm not saying every other country has it wrong. If it works for them great, but I don't want it.
