It's a way around it, however I prefer to inject as little insulin as possible and generally eat a lot more healthily because of it.
It's interesting to realise how sweet certain foods are after not eating them for well over a decade.

Each to their own, I'm just offering an alternative for actually being able to eat sweets should the desire ever come back. It's one of the small blessings type 1 has over type 2. The only thing I find it doesn't really work for is soda because that stuff's amazingly fast acting.

Well, to use some examples; I don't know if you heard about the woman with a blog dedicated to her young, chronically ill son. It was a sympathy blog where people showered her with support and encouragement. It turns out she was intentionally exacerbating his illness in order to keep him sick so she could keep raking in the attention. She ended up killing the kid (possibly intentionally) which lead to an investigation that revealed what she had been doing. It didn't take long for everyone with a cursory knowledge about psychology to diagnose her with "Munchhausen-by-proxy", a condition in which a person will fake someone elses illness for attention.

Now, the big news right now is the dad who intentionally left his young son to bake to death in a car. He even researched how long it would take for an "animal" to die in a sealed automobile. There are a lot of weird details about the circumstances but not once have I seen anyone mention the possibility of mental illness involved in this case.

MRA's are not anti-women nor are they trying to take any rights away from women they only want to extend rights women already have to men.
#171 - fourchinsbrah (07/07/2014) [-]
Why do television shows always portray women as loving and motherly and men...?
I don't know, ask the male writers.
>implying that the majority of sitcoms that are written by men but still do this means anything other than women are unopressed in 2014
Why are women without a job considered to be exercising free choice...?
Last I checked they were usually considered wellfare moms.
>Last I checked, feminists still find a way to rally behind this kind of woman.
Why are feminists pushing laws that are preventing new laws form being passed...?
Which laws?
>answer to long to type. Lrn2intothenews
If those who side with women are feminists and those who side with men are chauvinists...?
Because that's already the default.
>says you
Why are men considered more privileged than women...?
Because there are plenty of double standards for women as well.
>right.
>wrong if you think thats a reason.
Strippers and hookers use sex to empower themselves…
Are strippers and whores anything new in society? It’s called the world’s oldest profession for a reason.
>try to stay on topic anon.
I’d love to actually discuss these points, so I'll leave on a closing statement. I don't agree with most feminists when it comes to dealing with men and men's issues. I think it's a broken system all around and just trying to fix one side won't solve the problems presented on the other side. However, trying to remove the progress one side made is not the answer.

I agree with a lot of what you said here. My only issue is with the one in the first post about murders and mental illness. It's not a legal thing, it's just common in society for women who do something heinous to be seen as mentally ill and men as just being bad people. It has a lot to do with how we, as a society, treat mental illness overall.
User avatar #71 - organiclead (07/07/2014) [-]
Maybe I've just been lucky since I've never run into that myself. Most of the time I hear about that ti has the same tone of "that crazy bitch killed her boyfriend and cut him up into pieces" you get with "that crazy bastard shot up an entire school."

I think it's the same reason a lot of MRAs are anti-woman: because human nature is >to be a realist.
And to argue some of the points presented in your image:
Why do we have a Violence Against Women Act...?
The law has been amended to attempt to cover for this, though unfortunately it's still ineffective.
>implying that was worth typing or is a thumbs up for any feminist
Why is it terrible for a woman to be raped once but funny when a male prisoner...?
Those jokes are written by guys a majority of the time.
>>implying that was worth typing or is a thumbs up for any feminist . or true.
Why do married women complain that their husband don't want to change a dirty diaper...?
Cause and effect. If you don't learn how to take care of a kid, you won't know how to if the divorce comes up.
>youre really not that good at arguing about legit issues anon....
Why don't they have to register for the draft?
I imagine that would be amended if the draft were ever reinstated. For now, it's an irrelevant law that amending would take time and resources away from other matters.

the thing about lying about who the father is, i think its about that the mother can say that a person is the father and demand they pay child support, and if they want a dna test she can refuse but still force them to pay child support
User avatar #174 - organiclead (07/07/2014) [-]
Depends on the state. In most cases, yes, it is bullshit considered a married man is assumed to be the father of any children in the marriage. However, if you're not married (as the statement looks like it's assuming to me), you usually don't have to pay child support unless paternity is established. This is the common law, though individual states in the US have different laws on the subject.

I tried getting a job at a pet store because its the only thing I have experience with.

They didn't hire me because I'm only 16 and have no license, despite running several home businesses myself in the past, such as breeding snakes and other animals, and making terrariums.

But no, lets hire the 19 year old that knows ******** about animals instead just because he can drive.
