Wow. That's actually pretty neat. I never would have thought. Luigi's gotten more popular in recent years. Granted he's been made the comic relief of the series, what with being constantly frightened in the Luigi's Mansion games (we laugh at his misery) and being a big part of the Mario and Luigi series (Partners in Time and the Like) and also making appearances in games where he's not a playable character like the Paper Mario series. Now he's got a whole Super Mario Bro's game to himself. Soon enough it's just going to be Super Luigi hogging the spotlight.

Sega was already dead when they bit the dust, and rather die completely, they became a 3rd party developer. Nintendo is drowning in money from the 3DS sales alone. Do you want to know how much a week is made off of 3DS sales alone? 30.2 MILLION dollars.
