Corbyn is batshit insane. extreme socialist policies would destroy the economy, he praised Hugo Chavez who ruined Venezuela into hyperinflation and extreme scarcity and he meets up with holocaust deniers and radical islamists.

I love how everyone is probably going to ignore all the other pictures because of "OMG THAT'S NOT WHAT HE SAID ABOUT BIN LADEN"
User avatar
#27 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
He said Bin Laden's death was a tragedy of justice.

He's not defending Bin Laden at all he's saying everybody should face trial in a court for their crimes. Because giving the government the power to kill anyone they want without facing trial just because they label them as terrorists wont turn out great.

Even though Bin Laden was obviously guilty the point still stands
User avatar
#29 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
That's like saying "sorry i can't kill this rapist out of defense i have to wait for a trial first"

I care more about him being dead as quickly as possible than having to unsuccessfully catch him with the chance of the soldiers being killed themselves, especially considering he was already guilty.

And it doesn't excuse his meetings with radical extremists.
User avatar
#30 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
No it's not? You could kill a rapist in self defense and there would still be a trial held to make sure it was self defense and not just a excuse to avoid murder charges.
User avatar
#31 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
I think the soldiers should be on fair trial, but Corbyn argued that it's an injustice that the soldier didn't put Bin Laden on trial as if such a life or die mission totally is that easy to solve. It's pretty clear already that he sympathizes with extreme scum anyway so i wouldn't be surprised if Corbyn has ties to Al Qaeda or ISIS.
User avatar
#32 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
Apparently he has ties to the IRA and ISIS because those two groups are totally compatible. The troops obviously went in with orders to kill. That's a fact there was no attempt to capture and trial. If they killed him out of self defense i'd be totally fine and i'm sure he would too.

He has met with extremist group leaders which I don't necessarily think is a bad thing. Considering doing exactly that is what ended the war in northern ireland.
User avatar
#34 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
Just like i could get myself to murder a rapist if i found he was raping someone at the very moment. I would deserve the trial, not the person who already is guilty.

You're praising someone with ties to murderers, radical extremists, misogynists, anti-semites and holocaust deniers. Do i even have to say anything?
User avatar
#35 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
Because having discussions with those groups is bad why?

It's not like America or Israel has done some pretty diabolical shit. And that's not me saying that as a defense for terrorists. But do you think any harm at all can come from meeting with these people? Again it stopped the war in Northern Ireland and i'm sure you wouldn't want us still fighting there because our leaders didn't want to ever want to even talk to the IRA leaders?
User avatar
#38 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
Supporting the IRA doesn't stop shit, neither does promoting holocaust deniers and radical extremists.
User avatar
#36 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
Because these are extremists who try to influence people, these are not people that you ought to like and support like Corbyn does. And yes i think sympathizing with HOLOCAUST DENIERS and Islamists who think stoning and throwing acid on women is fine makes you a pretty shitty person.

It would make sense if it was a diplomatic issue but he's clearly not the PM, he met with these people and supported them out of pure activism, not out of diplomacy. Corbyn is an extremist and i cannot understand how anyone can support him.
User avatar
#40 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
Again.

Discussion does not mean support.

If I said to bin ladens face that I disagree with his policies am I supporting him? Just because I met with the cunt doesn't mean i'm his biggest fan
User avatar
#43 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
In none of these cases Corbyn ever showed strong disagreement or antagonism towards their views. He doesn't argue with them or change their views, he allies with them. The people in the pictures endorse Corbyn for president, if Corbyn said that their practices are barbaric and does not support them then he wouldn't get these endorsements. Neither does going to listen to an event equal discussion.

User avatar

I've not seen anything that says he supports them at all.

Just that he attended meetings
User avatar
#48 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
Again they endorse him, he attends their meetings, he doesn't discuss with them, he doesn't openly criticize their practices. He's a sympathizer of extremists because he is an extremist himself.
User avatar

User avatar
#51 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
Tu Quoque Fallacy. The US did indeed fund terrorists, that doesn't make Corbyn any less of an extremist.
User avatar
#57 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
Also like to say that the Queen has met with Assad of syria and king abdullah of saudi arabia. www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/pa/article-2922860/PMs-tribute-Saudi-King-Abdullah.html

Now she actually came out and spoke of support for the regime there. Not this "met with them a couple of times" shit
User avatar
#59 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
Diplomatic reasons, she's a leading figure meeting with other leading figures whom she doesn't want to start shit with, Corbyn has nothing to lose with criticizing a bunch of holocaust deniers without power.

Also still To Quoque.
User avatar
#71 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
Also argument of authority fallacy. Unless you can show a peer-reviewed document proving that the holocause didn't happen than his opinion isn't worth shit.

We don't know he has anything until we talk to him and see what he has. THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF DISCUSSIONS
User avatar
#70 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
The point of the argument clearly wasn't about their actions specifically. If you didn't understand that then you're completely deficient in proper arguing.

Your point is that because he's been to meet with people and attended meetings that means he also shares their opinion. Again him attending these meeting and being civil and letting people have their right of free speech is trying to open discussion. And not necessarily with him and the person meeting but just trying to close the negotiation gap between the two.

What is wrong with that? Why does that mean he's automatically a extremist?
User avatar
#65 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
Again someone having a bat shit opinion doesn't mean you can't listen to see if they have anything interesting to say.

Did you know that the Director of archives and head curator of the Auschwitz state museum doesn't believe in the holocaust? that's a top expert on the subject. Should we not listen to anything he has to say because we don't agree with it?
User avatar
#69 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]

To Quoque.

Having extremists endorse you and attending their meetings while not even once disagreeing or criticizing them makes you an extremists. And supporting such a man makes you a disgusting person.
User avatar
#64 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
Trying to open up discussions is fine. Even though he didn't have to and it wouldn't have changed much at all he still tried to open talks between our government and theirs.

Also the thing about the hitler stalin thing you just said isn't relevant. There isn't anything wrong with letting people practice free speech even if it is dangerous. If someone out there wants to talk about holocaust denial then why not? what if they have something to say? should we just block out all opposing views or diplomatic discussions just because we don't agree with them?
User avatar
#68 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
The point of the argument clearly wasn't about their actions specifically. If you didn't understand that then you're completely deficient in proper arguing.
User avatar

Do you just thrive on misunderstanding entire arguments?
User avatar
#60 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
Fallacies doesn't mean that the point is no longer valid at all.

You saying that when Corbyn has diplomatic meetings with the heads of extremist groups or government it automatically makes him a extremist even though he hasn't actually given public support to these murderers while when the Queen does it you're totally fine with it.

Both are diplomatic. The only difference is your perspective of the people
User avatar
#63 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
"Hitler murdered 20 million"

"WELL STALIN MURDERED OVER 60 MILLION" Hitler supporter.

See where the fallacy is?
User avatar
#62 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
Corbyn is an extremist because he didn't go to diplomatic meetings. He went there because he sympathizes with misogyny, radical islam, jew hate and holocaust denial.
User avatar
#61 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]
Your fallacy is trying to make Corbyn look good by comparing it with other examples, not realizing that it doesn't make him good.

The Queen is meeting up with people who can start wars if you don't have careful political discussions with them, Corbyn was a small local politician going to meetins with people who he doesn't have to appease in order to avoid conflict. You're comparing apples to oranges in order to justify you supporting a batshit insane fucktard.
User avatar
#52 - turtletroll (09/22/2015) [-]
And saying the terrorists support corbyn makes him a extremist is the same as saying that Bin Laden endorsing america after they funded him makes them extremist. We also funded the pancasila youth in indonesia that committed atrocities en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesian_killings_of_1965%E2%80%9366 . I'd recommend watching "The Act of Killing" to see the actual people who committed those murders and how they still live today with total impunity.

So is one of these okay and the other isn't?
User avatar
#58 - kanadetenshi (09/22/2015) [-]

They are now to be fair they didn't use to be. More of a saying then anything.

It's just this is how both sides of the media put things in different perspective to push their own agenda.

If someone said "I think we should look into the 9/11 attacks" all of a sudden the right wing media would say that they're conspiracy nuts even though it's quite a mild statement
