So what would you rather them throw the animals out into the streets or over crowd them in the back? they have to make those tough choices, and sometimes they have to kill the older ones

What about the Humane Society? They don't put down dogs. That's where I sent my dogs when I wasn't able to care for them anymore.

You do realize that the pounds, even the ones that HAVE to put down some animals, do more good than PETA. and its not that the animals "don't sell" it that they are either too old to be adopted and its a courtesy to them by not making them live in the streets or at the pound for their last years. Or the animals are too aggressive or have some sort of disease, trust me those who work in those pounds hate putting down animals almost as much as the animals do. Hell the lead nut ball of PETA even said that sometimes putting down animals is the nicest thing you can do.

Yeah, understand putting down an animal if it's too aggressive, or if it has a disease and can't be treated, but there are animals that are put down just to make room for other animals. That's sick.
