Buy a used squat rack, adjustable bench and barbell + weights on Craigslist and put them in your Garage/ shed and get swole in the privacy of your own personal dungeon gym. I started out fat and weak, and found out quickly that basic home workouts don't go far for long unless you have equipment, so I joined a gym.

Fitness videos or dancing videos.
Push ups, sit ups, etc.
My favourite regimen: Insanity videos every other day, 12x12 work out: 12 push ups & 12 arm curls then 12 push ups & 12 arm curls then 100 abs (25 sit ups, 25 right side oblique 25 left side obliques, 25 rocky abs). Repeat 6 times and go run 1-2miles.

Every night: randomabs.com workout.
You will lose a ton of weight cut a great shape within weeks.
