Look, Lil Wayne was great in his prime. IN HIS PRIME. I say it and I mean it, because I thought he was pretty good back in his days too.
But he decided to become a sellout. LIKE EVERY RAPPER DOES EVENTUALLY.

Lil Wayne only got called the greatest rapper alive, because he himself, shoved that belief down everyone's throats, untill eventually it stuck.

He became more interested in just putting things out there, instead of putting out quality material. He became interested in just being relevant. And if you think about it, he has done a great job at staying relevant.
I mean, say what you want, but he's a clever business man and while music IS a subjective matter, Lil Wayne preys on the stupid masses that just don't know any better. And he almost openly mock the people who buy his music.

And who cares if something goes platinum in a week? That's not what makes an album memorable.

I rarely ever listen to his new commercial stuff, and I know he's a genius at business, that guy really can sell anything he wants. But I don't support him by means of buying his stuff, I don't have any Lil Wayne merch or CD's, I only have illegally downloaded music. I believe that if he concentrated and really wanted to, he can show his potential. But he's far, SO far from being the worst rapper/muscician now or ever.
