It is simply another plant dying it does not have a brain or anything or like an animal. It would be like you accidentally mowed over the roses or something.
User avatar #57 - EnergizierAnon (02/23/2014) [-]
so, you would consider a jellyfish in that catagory as well? they don't have brains.
#59 - bonwee (02/23/2014) [-]
They have more nerve endings...frankly I would not but to be clear a venus fly trap is a plant it does not feel pain or any other basic functions. It is just that a plant, and litterally can be compared to your standard fern or houseplant dying on you.
User avatar #62 - EnergizierAnon (02/23/2014) [-]
of course. but still, i thinked id feel a bit more if my Venus trap died more than a flower or whatever.
#65 - bonwee (02/23/2014) [-]
well yeah that may be due to the rarity of the plant...(although to be fair they have become a lot less rare as of recently). I mean there are plants that are much rarer that I would rather not have die and would be devestated if they did. Orchids being one. I mean when you are growing those you really need to care for them. Plus a lot of orchids are very unique.

I probably wouldn't have done exactly like OP, I would have told the rest of my parents, they would probably be glad I took the moral ground, cause funnily enough, my sis got arrested for possession of weed (she wasn't charged) and my parents were furious at me (I've never smoked anything) because I didn't tell them, I didn't tell them because she wasn't harming anybody.

As if being a criminal is the worst thing in the world. Criminals have honor and a code. The ones that beat the fuck up out of pedophiles and child killers in jail. Rather be labelled a criminal then a crooked snake.

Well here's the thing, my mom wouldn't want me to break the law, and I love and respect her, so I'm not gonna go against her wishes and disrespect her by criminally breaking the law, how's that for honour to the family?

User avatar #201 - onceman (02/17/2014) [-]
Hamilton Ontario, but Floridian education is considered pretty bad out of all the states.
Let me give my points
Here, the teachers are better, the explanations and curriculum call for a better understanding of a certain subject. Basically, if you're a student who pays attention in class, you'll learn more in Florida, if you don't pay too much attention, then you will learn more in Canada because the explanations are more in depth.
Here, for example, what they taught in 10th and 9th grade math, I learned in 7th and 8th grade math in Florida.
