"Guys. I was just being sarcastic now that I see the potential backlash from me trying to tell him to stop presenting his opposing view."

Of course she was.

Yep, that clip took her out of context; she was definitely being sarcastic. Both their lines were scripted too.

At the most eh government might take away the forced legal gay marriage that is nation wide. Meaning each state can vote to keep gay marriage legal or not. While you might personally believe gay marriage should be legal i'm sure there are states that 95% of the population oppose gay marriage. Is it fair to oppose the views of 95% of a state because the rest of the country has feelings? Their are arguments to be made both ways but at the end of the day the state would be to blame if gay marriage is not legal, not donald trump or the republican party.

Yes, and the entire reason people voted for Trump is that he's not just a puppet of the establishment and will mindlessly enact every 'republican' policy. For nearly any other candidate, that would apply, but Trump's whole appeal is that he picks and chooses what he likes from that list.

the senate and house is more republican yes but not by that much. Not all republicans wanna put a ban on gay marriage the same way not all democrats support it. Marriage equality is also so approved by the public that if anyone wants to ever get elected ever they will support it
