i think american confuse metal and screamo. The majority of screamo is just pitiful and metal gets thrown into that category because people don't understand the difference.

To be honest, if people wanna listen to Bring Me The Horizon and go 'OMFG SO METAL.' Let them XD I'll be over here listening to Sonata Arctica, Blind Guardian and Rhapsody of Fire while I laugh about how they'll one day have to answer when their kids ask them why they have a big, gaping hole in their ear while their mum is still counting the weeks to make sure that her husband is the actual father, as Scene girls are generally slags <_<

i wish screamo would fall off the edge of the universe. bunch of boys in skinny jeans and a hair curved to the left or right with giant holes in their ear-lobes so other screamo "bi-sexuals" can stick their dicks in each others ears while "screaming"

haha I agree, about the only screamo I can listen to is A Day to Remember. Besides that it makes me want to vomit.

aha, well sir, as i respect you and your decisions, i take your reality and substitute my own. But people need to understand, Metallica is indeed Metal, and yes i will agree their newer albums blow donkey dick. but theres more then one kind of Metal in music genre's. metallica is simply metal, but the band you named (kreator) and lets say children of bodom are thrash metal. then there is speed metal like dragonforce. although i could be wrong about that last part. and hey if it were not for metallica, where would our generation of rock/metal be?

Yeah, I'd say that albums such as Master Of Puppets, And Justice For All, Ride the Lightning and Kill Em All, they're definitely metal, no one denies it, it's just that they have let themselves down, basically becoming a parody of metal, you'll find a lot of people who still love Master of Puppets, but turn off every time they hear Enter Sandman. They have been very influential, I never argued that, but, European bands have taken metal onto a new level that requires a lot of technical ability, and a high level of theory knowledge, so it's hard to go back to the 'simple stuff', so to speak ^_^

Fair enough, I disagree, but still, good on you for getting that many thumbs, it looks like you entertained a lot of people, and that's really the aim of this site ^^ Though if you could come up with more great ones like the first few, I think you'd be receiving several thousand thumbs, you can definitely get there ^^
