Of course you can't tell what kind of a person someone is from the television. I've heard Stephen Fry is a frightful pig in real life, quite different from his television persona. Ask yourself how far you can trust your emotions before citing your own anger as a useful source.

Promoting yourself to gain attention is the only way anyone ever gets attention. If they sat inside all day without showing their talents to those who might appreciate them, no one would ever be famous.

You can't compare your own mental state to anyone else's, because you are not the same as anyone else, least of all someone who's taken 3 years of incessant paparazzi.

If anyone you respected took a swing at a reporter, you'd be on their side in an instant. You're letting your feelings speak for you, and such an argument has no place in decent debate.

My feelings? I didn't hate Justin until he hit the reporter, I just found his songs annoying. I never heard his songs much anyway because they never come on the radio and I'm not really going to hear them anywhere else.
Stephen Fry isn't really 'news' sort of TV though is it? I know that the media sometimes try and portray people to be dicks/generous and whatnot, but YouTube has proven to be a reliable backup.

Have you seen that video of him walking into a door? He walked into a door so he decided it was a good time to show off.
What's all this with paparazzi being really bad? I'm getting sick of hearing it. They really aren't that bad. Yes, there are some cases where they are quite bad, but never as bad as people make out. I'd rather have paparazzi than a childhood of being bullied, or abusive relations. (Which are far more common might I add)
