Yes, and that when it came to the tests like ACT and SAT, we would absolutely suck balls since we had no real practice taking tests. They did a pretty good job of offering after school help for SAT prep classes, but once people got into college, the whole "studying for a test" thing was totally foreign to them. Junior and senior year in my high school were set a little different than the 7th 8th 9th and 10th, with multiple classes instead of just AH and MST, trying to get us a little better equipped for college, but we were at a huge disadvantage with the test taking. Not to mention when it came to applying for college, we did not have a traditional transcript, so a lot of colleges would be like "... where is your gpa..." and occasional even just reject us because we didn't have a transcript that they could look at like a chart, they had to actually read through a pretty thick packet that was our "transcript".

The one consolation is that we would do a crap ton of oral presentations, to the point where public speaking is no real sweat, making the interview process for college applications very easy, and that is what a lot of us relied on (along with the essays).
