because he has the Altair's for Assassin's Creed (the first one) personality and you can rarely tell how he feels. he's like masterchief only he talks a lot more and is more monotone about it. I've seen him smile maybe 3 times for about 5 seconds throughout the game.

Well think about all that has happened to him, that would kill the emotions of some people.

almost the same thing happend with Ezio in two, he had to watch his father and his older and younger brother be hung. and then he was forced out of his own town because he was framed as a traitor by someone who was his fathers closest friend. that didn't make him a cold motherfucker. he basically turned into a very pissed off playboy, who eventually went from thriving to kill the people who screwed him to stopping the Templar achieving their goals. he still maintained his personality as a playboy and person who could actually show feeling, I still hate the part in Brotherhood where he has to watch Uncle Mario get executed. but that didn't turn him into what ever you want to call Connor.

Some people, not everyone reacts the same way to something, just goes to show how different Ezio and Conner are.
Though you are right in saying Conner could show a little more personality than a rock.

yah but he never really knew how to act around people on top of the traumatic moments in his life. he had an awkward personality thats all. but cmon, tell me... that the end of the story where him and charles lee meet for the last time didnt leave you there like... "damn..." cause that shit was deep. charles was like...damn this guy just doesnt quit theres no getting away from him...im done for... here...share this rum with me...itll help.... and they both knew that they were only fighting for what they believed in. i thought this game was just purely epic IMO
